Each of us is called to be a disciple of Christ. By gathering together in small groups, we can help each other to learn, grow, and become better followers of Christ.
Below is a list of current small group options at HMC. Please contact the parish office for more information.

Well Read Moms
Meetings: Monthly

Coffee and Catholicism
Meetings: Weekly, Monday Mornings
Coffee and Catholicism meets on Monday mornings to learn all about our faith from basic early teachings, to Bible studies, to understanding why Catholics practice and give the Lord praise as Catholics do. They start by praying the Rosary (optional) in church then we meet informally for one hour. We learn using a variety of teaching sources such as videos, group discussion, and Scripture. The group determines from week to week what we would like to cover in upcoming sessions. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and gain understanding about our wonderful faith. And the coffee is on us!
Divine Comedy Book Club
A group of men are meeting as they read through the Divine Comedy, which is an epic Italian narrative poem by Dante Alighieri. It is written in the early 14 th century, that chronicles a fictional journey through Hell (Inferno), Purgatory (Purgatorio), and Paradise (Paradiso). Guided first by the Roman poet Virgil and later by his beloved Beatrice, the poem is an allegory for the soul's journey to salvation, exploring themes of sin, redemption, and divine justice through a medieval Christian worldview. It is structured into three parts, each with 33 cantos (plus an introductory canto in Inferno), and uses a three-line rhyme scheme called terza rima.
