We have a wonderful year planned for our high school students!
- Various Social Events, Service Projects, and Liturgical Celebrations:
These will occur throughout the year. I will be in touch with more details as we get closer to each event.- St. Cletus Youth Center:
We have a new Youth Center! Thanks to two generous donors in our pastorate, HMC’s former rectory was renovated into a 4,000 sq foot center for middle school and high school programs. This beautiful new space includes foosball, air hockey, spike ball, basketball hoops, a gaga ball pit, ping pong table, bean bag toss games, and more! The walls are filled with scripture quotes and pictures that speak to the minds and hearts of our youth. It also includes AV equipment that will allow us to play music, show pictures, videos, and more.- The Sacrament of Confirmation:
Confirmation Candidates will attend sessions that will specifically focus on the sacrament of Confirmation. Some of these sessions will involve parents and/or sponsors. These sessions will occur at various church locations across our parish on Sunday evenings.In addition to these sessions, Confirmation Candidates are expected to regularly participate in the youth ministry events mentioned above and attend weekly Mass to really dive into the Catholic faith as they prepare to be confirmed during the Confirmation Mass in the spring.(We are still waiting to receive the exact date from the Diocese of Madison, but should be hearing from them soon. Once we receive that date, we will share our session dates.)- Volunteer Opportunities:
If your son/daughter wants to serve as a Lector/Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Greeter, or Choir Member at Mass, please contact our Liturgy Director, Larry Thelen, [email protected] for more information.If your son/daughter wants to serve as a 4K-5th Grade Catechist/Assistant, or a Small Group Leader for Middle School, please contact Becky Phillips for more information at [email protected] .- Summer 2026 Opportunities:
- High School Mission Trip with Catholic Heart Work Camp (The location/dates will be announced in early October.)
- Vacation Bible School (High school students are invited to be group leaders and station helpers.)
- SHINE (High school students are invited to support our middle schoolers through service projects, prayer opportunities, and games.)
